Terms and Conditions
Your use of the platform is subject to the following General Terms and Conditions ("General Terms") as well as the Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") in effect at the time of your registration. Any differing terms and conditions proposed by you will not apply unless explicitly agreed to in writing by TideFlow.
There is no separate contractual document for use of the platform. Your agreement with TideFlow is based on these General Terms and Conditions and the specific information you provide during registration or when purchasing a paid subscription. This information is stored by TideFlow and can be accessed at any time in your user account.
By registering or purchasing a paid subscription (as applicable), you accept the validity and applicability of these terms.
TideFlow offers content in a gamified and interactive format, enabling you to learn, internalize and practice improvement techniques and habits. Additionally, you may be provided with a personal profile where you can input your preferred content, techniques, and usage statistics. These can be organized into various lists.
The scope of platform content and available usage options ("License") depends on the type of account you choose. Differences exist between free accounts (see Section 3), paid subscriptions, and trial offers. The License is valid only during the active period of the free account , paid subscription, or free trial.
TideFlow software applications and content are licensed to you solely for use under this agreement. We grant you only a non-exclusive, time-limited, personal right to use the TideFlow service and its content.
All trademarks, trade names, logos, domain names, and other distinguishing features of the TideFlow brand are the exclusive property of TideFlow. This License does not grant you any right to use these features for either commercial or non-commercial purposes.
If you do not use a paid service, TideFlow reserves the right to display promotional content within the platform.
To use TideFlow services, you must register for an account. Registration is open to individuals aged 18 and above. Minors aged 14 and up may register only with the consent of a legal guardian. TideFlow reserves the right to request proof of age, identity, or legal guardian consent as a condition of using the services.
Registration is free of charge and does not obligate you to purchase a subscription. By registering, you enter into a limited, free-use agreement with TideFlow.
You may register using your email address and a password, or through a single sign-on service (e.g., Apple ID). Registration can be completed via our website or after downloading our IOS app.
All registration information must be complete, accurate, and kept up to date. TideFlow has the right to store and process the information you provide in accordance with data protection laws.
You are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential. Your user account is for personal use only. Any unauthorized use or suspected misuse must be reported to TideFlow immediately.
To fully benefit from TideFlow, you may purchase additional paid services (“Subscription Access”) after registration. Subscription options are available in various durations and are described at the time of purchase.
Subscription Access is ad-free and allows you to use additional content and features via our mobile and web applications. We currently offer:
Monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscriptions, as well as introductory or promotional offers.
As long as your subscription is active, you will have access to the corresponding services.
If you purchase a subscription through an in-app purchase, you will receive confirmation via the third-party app store. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information about data collection and processing.
From time to time, TideFlow may offer trial access — either free of charge or at a reduced price — for testing purposes ("Trials"). Whether you are eligible for a trial is determined at TideFlow’s sole discretion. Trials may be modified or terminated at any time without notice.
Some trials require you to enter payment information. In such cases, you agree that your access will convert into a paid subscription on the day after the trial ends. This subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least one day before the end of the current subscription period.
If you do not wish to be charged after the trial, you must cancel your subscription before the trial ends (e.g., via your TideFlow account settings or your app store settings).
TideFlow can be downloaded free of charge. However, some features require payment, either throuugh: (1) subscription fees paid in advance for the applicable billing intervals; or (2) one-time fees for specific content outside the subscription (“Purchases”). Purchases are made through the app store.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, subject to applicable law. You will be reasonably notified of such changes through updates on our website, within the app, via email, or other prominent methods. You may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect to avoid being charged the new price.
You authorize us and the app store to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
By purchasing certain subscriptions, you agree to automatic renewal. Unless canceled, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees for each renewal period. Renewal durations will match the initial subscription period unless otherwise disclosed. Renewal fees will not exceed the fees charged for the previos subscription period (excluding discounts/promotional offers) unless we notify you.
We do not offer prorated refunds or partial cancellations once a subscription period has begun. Refunds are handled according to the app store’s policy. Please contact app store’s support for refund inquiries.
All purchases are final. TideFlow does not offer refunds or cancellations once the transaction has been completed, unless otherwise required by mandatory law or unless we voluntarily grant a refund in accordance with our policies.
For EU residents: You have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days of entering into the contract, without charge and without giving any reason — unless you consented to the service beginning immdediatley and acknowledged losing your right of withdrawal. You hereby expressly agree to the immediate start of the contract and acknowledge that once the purchase is verified and delivered, your right of withdrawal is waived, unless the content is defective.
The free-use agreement begins upon your registration under Section 3 and remains in effect for an indefinite period. You can cancel it at any time via the “Settings” section of the TideFlow app.
Paid subscriptions remain valid for the subscription term selected at the time of purchase and will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
Upon cancellation, your access will revert to a free account on the day after the subscription period ends. You may delete your entire account via the settings of the web app.
Termination rights for just cause remain unaffected.
We may suspend or terminate your access for fraudulent behavior or violation of these terms. This may occur without prior notice and take effect immediately. Such termination will not affect your existing obligations under these terms (e.g., those relating to intellectual property, limitations of liability, dispute resolution), which will remain in effect.
While we strive to keep the information on our services accurate and up to date, we make no guarantees—express or implied—regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service or its content. Your use of the service is at your own risk. If you spot an error, please contact us at service@tideflow-app.com. Access may occasionally be limited due to updates, maintenance, or service improvement. We are not responsible for any temporary unavailability.
TideFlow is a provider of digital and mobile content in the sleep and wellness field. We provide general content intended to support relaxation, rest, and better sleep habits. While third-party evidence suggests that digital sleep-related approaches may support better sleep and well-being, we do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Users with significant sleep-related concerns should seek appropriate professional support. Information and links available through our service are for convenience and general purposes only — not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider before making health-related decisions. We are not liable for actions taken based on our content.
To the extent permitted by law, we make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of information or recommendations provided through our service.
We may update these terms at any time. If changes are made, you will be notified at least two (2) weeks before they take effect, by email or by other suitable means. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must stop using the service.
If any provision of these General Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. Invalid provisions will be replaced by applicable statutory rules.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Unless otherwise specified, any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Sichuan, China, the place where TideFlow is registered.
